Do you know why you should build your own PC?

If you have a moment I'd like to explain to you why you should. I promise to keep it short and sweet.

The short answer is:

It's fun and a great investment that can last you between 8 to 10 years if used and taken care of properly.

The long answer:

A custom computer is the very definition of the term Personal Computer (PC). Sure you can purchase one already made at one of the big box stores or local PC shops but the problem with that is your going to get what you get with no say in the components already installed.

You need to have a custom PC because of everything you plan on using it for with the possibility of upgrading or adding on to it later in its life.

Need more RAM space to host a gaming server to play with your friends or simply because you do a ton of editing with various software programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or both?

Simply pop in some more memory sticks and upgrade them gigs!

Problem solved.

Need more processing power?

Upgrade the processor to a high-quality Intel processor or an equally powerful, yet affordable one from AMD. You have plenty of options.

More importantly, having your own custom PC affords you bragging rights in this ever-growing niche.

Imagine having a machine more capable than any gaming console currently available to consumers.

For the price of one gaming console, you can easily spend that on a graphics card from AMD or NVIDIA which will easily destroy any of those overpriced gaming consoles.

Which by the way will be obsolete in 5 to 7 years' time, at which point you will have to keep your old console and hope that your collection of games you purchased will be able to be played on newer consoles. We all know how that goes.

One last thing I will leave you with as to why you should build your own PC is this, it's an investment in not just a reliable machine that you know will work as you intended but if you built it yourself it is also an investment in skills and knowledge for the betterment of you.

Have fun building your beast of a machine💪🏽
